He chose UT over Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Stanford and others. He is talented, just needs to start clicking. Hopefully he sticks around and fights for his job back next season.

I appreciate what Justin has done for this football program. I wish him well in his future endeavors.

He needs to be thanked for being a tough SOB....and for not bolting on the dolt who previously held the head coaching position at the University of Tennessee.

Respect...with limited abilities, he performed and led us to a victory over a Ranked team...something the golden armed Bray never did...he persevered thru the humiliation of getting benched for the 1st SEC game of the year and when called upon, answered the bell...never complained, just went to work...took a beating, physically and verbally, and kept on going...he will succeed n life bc he works hard and doesn't ***** and moan about not getting his way, just puts his down and grinds away to the best of his abilities.

I do respect Worley for going out and playing to the best of his ability for the team, and there was a few moments that he excelled, and I don't like seeing an injury end the year for any player. However, the problem I had with him all year wasn't that he couldn't make an accurate short yardage pass, under threw every receiver over 30 yds downfield or that he never kept the ball on an option read. It's the fact that after all of the interceptions and bad passes, he never showed any emotion or even acted like he cared. I even saw him with a smile and laugh after a throwing a pick, almost like he was trying to laugh off a bad pass in a back yard pick up game. It has been my personal observation that throughout the season, he was satisfied with being a subpar performer. I have played sports all my life and I had much rather have a guy on my team that gets pissed and throws a cooler or something than I had a guy who acts like nothing happened after screwing up. Sorry if I make anybody mad but it's my opinion. With all that being said, I do hope he gets better and improves enough to have the opportunity to earn back his starting position. If he improves enough to earn it back we will definitely have a stud qb next season.

I get what you're saying but I know Worley didn't act like nothing happened, he definitely gave a **** every second he was playing. His work ethic is unmatched and that's not an opinion, that's a consensual fact from everyone around him.

Maybe ur right I don't know that's just wat I observed on tv. I just felt that he was content on game day with how he performed whether it was good or bad, but I don't doubt that he worked hard to improve between Saturdays. Maybe I am completely wrong, but this is somethin that bothered me about Worley all season. Then again I got spoiled with peyton which has set my expectations for a vol qb at an unrealistic level lol.
