What happened to Justin King?

he moved to linebacker and gets time on special teams

Are you sure? He's not played a game. Now Greg King plays ST, but I'm pretty sure Justin is redshirting this year because he moved positions.

King has the athletic ability to blossom at linebacker with enough time. I like the idea of a red shirt for him.

Give me one good reason why you don't want to see it again.

If AJ comes back next year I think there's an outside shot we see the beast package a bit more.

As it stands, he's probably playing too many snaps per game as is without adding offensive plays into the equation. He's averaging something like 84 snaps a week on defense. He's simply too irreplaceable to our defense to chance him on offense right now.

If we hang on to all of our LB recruits and our young guys continue to develop, I think there's a good chance that we see the beast package a bit in 2014. If those things happen, AJ will be able to play less in obvious passing situations and stay a bit fresher.

I would much rather see the "wild beast" package inside the 3 yard line then Worley standing 6 yards back in the shotgun.

I would rather see a running back do what they are supposed to do and pound it in and leave AJ on the defensive side of the ball to do what he is supposed to do.

1. We dont have the players for it.
2. Its gimmicky
3. Putting our #1 LB in on offense after hes already playing 80 plays a game isnt smart.

Theres 3 reasons for starters.
