It is truly amazing how quickly things went downhill.

Iirc, Ellis Johnson was considered one of the bright stars of coaching...turns out he, in fact, was not.

If nothing else, maybe Larry Fedora IS that good if his replacement couldn't even win a game with a team that should've won 7 or 8 talent-wise.

No doubt Fedora is a good coach. I wouldn't mind having him but I don't think he is what this team needs right now.

I heard that the team rebelled against him. He was known for being a disciplinarian, not surprising for a former Citadel coach. From what I heard of Fedora, he seemed more like Kiffin. Fedora had the recruits dancing at one of the UNC recruiting weekends. All in all, it sounds like there were definite personality clashes between Johnson, and Fedora's former players.
