What happened to the shakers at UT games?

I was cleaning out my garage and found some orange and white shakers I had taken to games over the years....I remember the whole crowd used to shake them to Rocky Top and various chants.

They are tribal and primitive. They are just a hassle to me.

Shakers are practically extinct due to their celibacy lifestyle. :)

Student section was waving them like mad during the Georgia game.

I've never used them, except to decorate the car while driving to games.

They do look good when the entire stadium is using them, making noise at the same time.

I personally like them, and like when the many in the crowd has them. It's cool to look across or to the side and see tons of the orange. Looks like the "sea of Orange" since it moves

Everyone found out they're not called shakers, they're called pom poms and only cheerleaders use pom poms.
