What happens in 2012

OK, I'd like to hear from you about what happens if McCain gets elected, what will happen in the next election?


Here's what worries me... it's no secret McCain has done a lot to make conservatives uncomfortable and quite frankly angry. This is what I think (and am afraid) may happen...

Will push amnesty of some kind

Will push the Lieberman/Warner bill (or some variation) again

Will contine to deny oil drilling in the U.S.

Says he will not roll back the Bush tax cuts, but he was formerly against it so who knows..

These are only a few worries that I and many conservatives have. If McCain is elected and this is what happens, we could see something similar to the Bush/Buchannan episode of '92 (in the primaries). I like his stances on Iraq, Iran etc but some of his domestic policies scare me.

So what do you think? Could another embarrasing espisode be in store in the next primary season? I'm writing in this in a hurry, so while it may not be articulate, you get my point. So to steal OE's line... thoughts?

After Obama is elected and he has a democratic congress the nation will turn harshly back to the right.

Obama will be re-elected because some how some way McCain will be nominated again and Congress will be solely in the hands of the GOP.

It always does.......... I am confident Obama will be elected and the congress will turn harshly conservative ala Clinton.

There is no way the country can handle Obama, Pelosi and company.

Seriously, I wonder what will happen if some of the conservative base gets another candidate to run IF McCain wins. Of course, this is all speculation, but I wonder...
