OK guys now that it is over what happens with the coaching staff. We all pretty much know that Cutcliffe is the new OC. Now who is going to fill up his staff. And No guys i am not going to start bashing the Clapper, I know he isnt going anywhere.

Smith and Fayton were the ones that killed us today. Smith had the two penalties and Fatyon had the penalty and the drop in the endzone. 2 TD's were called back. One was C.J and one was Bret I believe. Poor Foster, that had to be frustrating.

I agree, Foster has to be upset with having 2 highlight reel plays called back.

Par for the course for our receivers though... I can't wait for a good coach and some discipline to take hold with those guys. IMO, Swain is the only one whose really performed up to expectations this year, and for whatever reason, we don't throw to him that much.

nothing will happen. fulmer has shown he will be loyal till the end. cut will be the only change, unless somebody decides they have had enough.

You don't think Jimmy Ray, Washington and Slade are gone as well?

Everybody keeps saying that part of the deal with bringing in Cutcliffe is allowing Cut to bring in the people he wants.

nope, completely wrong actually. it was reported earlier that stephens is out as is washington. if slade leaves, it will be because of retirement. cutcliffe is set to have a conference 5 pm on monday to officially announce that he is our new oc/qb coach/ass head coach/whatever other position he is taking. i am assuming the only positions coach he is keeping is taylor and he will find replacements for jrs and pw.

I'm sure some on this board think we already have an 'ass head coach'. Luckily a few of us know what you are really saying.....

According to Brent Hubbs, a newsconference has been set for 5:00 this Monday to name Cutcliffe the new OC. Pat Washington has already told several people that are close to him that he will not be on the staff next year. He is gone for sure. I believe Doug Matthews reported this morning that Jimmy Ray would be gone as well. I also expect Larry Slade to retire after this year.

The poster who said that no other changes would be made other than Cutcliffe is absolutely wrong. There is ZERO chance of that being the only change.

Just about anyone could replace JRS in my opinion.
Replace them all! With possible exception of Trooper.
Let's not forget about Special Teams coaching and how about a QUALIFIED full time qb coach. Pls no mention of Darryl Dickey!

Pls don't bring in a bunch of has beens or re-treads. New blood & fresh thinking should be first in order. That 30 year old, 8 play system we insist on sticking with has been discovered & figured out years ago.

The Dale Jones at ST rumor was pretty loud yesterday in Lexington. Im not sure i really buy into it. Isnt he the DC at Appy State? Myself, would be all for it if that was to happen.

The rumor of spanky/spunky, who ever he is :birgits_giggle:, is the one thats annoying me right now. :disappointed:

CPF needs to coach his own O-Line IMO.
