If Tennessee wins where does the season go? I think if UT wins it propels them to the top 3, with one win against UGA, from making SEC championship game and the confidence to go all the way. I think the past of falling short gets lifted off their back.
If Tennessee gets beat I think they get motivated to win out to prove they are a good to great team.

If Bama wins, it goes two ways, they finally put a full game together and end strong or they have a let down the next week against Miss State and ruin a great win.
If Bama loses, I feel sorry for Miss State, because Bama can still win the West. But I also see if Bama loses they say screw it and lets get ready for the NFL draft and start looking out for themselves.

This game will decide a lot on how the season for both teams will end up.

Right now i think Tennessee holds off Alabama crushes UT-Martin and Kentucky. Then i think they lose to Georgia in Athens then they slaughter Missouri,South Carolina and Vanderbilt. I think Tennessee goes 11-1 and plays 11-1 NCSU in the Orange Bowl.

If Tennessee loses against Bama, it will motivate this team to beat the hell of everyone left on the schedule including the bulldogs with the 5'7 QB

I agree with this. Beat Bama and we beat Georgia. Lose to Bama and I don’t have a ton of confidence against Georgia.

IF the Vols win, then UT is in the driver's seat for their season. Certainly the game against UGA is winnable, too.

Unfortunately, if Bama also wins out after our game, then we meet Bama in the SEC Championship. Saban has an impressive track record for NOT losing twice in a year to the same team.

A 12-1 UT team whose only loss is to Bama in the SEC championship may not make it in to the playoffs. It depends on the records of tOSU, Clemson, etc.

A loss to Bama might not be that major, except for the fans mentality. ha.
In the past we have seen how a loss has set the team back, but I feel different now with the coaches we have. I’m confident with our staff that they will handle a loss as motivation and keep the team’s confidence and focus.

A win against Bama, a loss to UGA, and then UGA beats Bama in the SEC championship? But then I guess we'd still be sitting at #5 behind CLemson, OSU/UofM, and USC? That's assuming their seasons all end undefeated or 1 loss with a conference championship.
I think Tennessee would be #5 or #6 in that situation.
