Agree. If UGA loses to Texas, they probably end up the 7th seed, and Ohio State and Tennesssee remain at 8 and 9, respectively. The committee wants to minimize how much they penalize the losers of the conference championship games, and especially with Georgia having the head to head against us, I don’t see them dropping below us. It is possible though that they could fall behind Ohio State and become the 8th seed.
ThisI think we stay at 9 no matter what. Maybe things change who we play. I don’t see UT hosting. Only chance was in tonight’s ranking to be ahead of Ohio State. As I said the other night right after the games on Saturday . . . If you want to know what the bracket is . . .Dinich will tell you. She was 100% correct.
I don’t see any chance UT hosts. Hope I’m wrong.
I think this will avoid in conference round 1. Vols to Penn state in 8-9Yeah IMO they intentionally put Ohio St between us and UGA (moving UGA up a spot despite their debacle against GA Tech) so that if UGA loses, they will only drop one spot and still host us. If Penn St loses, I think Ohio St will jump them based on head to head win so chance we could play there as well (but we wont jump either)
