If UGA gets clobbered by Texas, is it possible for them to fall below us? Or PSU gets blasted by Oregon, can they fall below us?

I think we stay at 9 no matter what. Maybe things change who we play. I don’t see UT hosting. Only chance was in tonight’s ranking to be ahead of Ohio State. As I said the other night right after the games on Saturday . . . If you want to know what the bracket is . . .Dinich will tell you. She was 100% correct.

I don’t see any chance UT hosts. Hope I’m wrong.

I’m sure it’s possible, but I don’t know how likely it is. I was really shocked to see Ohio State ahead of us, our loss against Georgia looks a whole lot better than them losing to an unranked team. I believe the biggest torrent for us going on the road, maybe the cold weather, that’s a crappy time to go north to play a football game

If UGA loses to Texas, they probably end up the 7th seed, and Ohio State and Tennesssee remain at 8 and 9, respectively. The committee wants to minimize how much they penalize the losers of the conference championship games, and especially with Georgia having the head to head against us, I don’t see them dropping below us. It is possible though that they could fall behind Ohio State and become the 8th seed. Our only real shot at moving up imo is Penn State losing badly to Oregon. Their best win is Illinois, and with 2 losses, I think they could fall behind us.

Unfortunately we’re stuck at 9. Hope I’m wrong but if we aren’t hosting now I don’t see how we will be after next weekend. I’m for any and all upsets to kick bama out.

I don’t see Ohio St or Tennessee moving, but hopefully I’m wrong. Also, it seems an easy choice for the committee to stick Ohio St in that noon Saturday game since they typically play a lot of noon home games every year. Either way, GBO!!!!!

Yeah IMO they intentionally put Ohio St between us and UGA (moving UGA up a spot despite their debacle against GA Tech) so that if UGA loses, they will only drop one spot and still host us. If Penn St loses, I think Ohio St will jump them based on head to head win so chance we could play there as well (but we wont jump either)

I think this will avoid in conference round 1. Vols to Penn state in 8-9
