Still quite active in local elections. Check out Lugar (R - IN) as one example. Same for some folks in Texas and some other areas.

Not that it will work that well there. Iirc hatch is still highly popular there

Lugar will probably lose. Hoorah!

Hatch is no cinch to win, let's hope he is shown the door.

Locally the Tea party is dominated by Democrats who seem inclined to try to further the UN Agenda 21 by enacting more zoning laws, etc. and in no way focus on the real Tea Party issues but I have the misfortune to live in solid Dhimmicrap territory where not so long ago it was a hanging offence to be a Republican.

I guess they are just not getting the media coverage they did during the 2010 elections.

I'm not sure thats a bad thing, considering most of the coverage tried to paint the TP as a fringe, racist extension of the KKK.

I've noticed reporting of the Occupy movement has also disappeared, despite favorable media treatment.

in Utah they're challenging Orrin hatch

Liljenquist. I honestly don't know much about him, but from what I hear he would be a lot better than Hatch.

Freaking hate Hatch so much. He told my old man that he voted for the Bridge to Nowhere because Ted Stevens was his friend.

Yeah. Popular because nobody knows anything. They just know he's a good Mormon, and so he must be doing good for America. The primary is going to the general, which bodes well for him. We needed to get him out at the delegate convention like we did Bennett, but it didn't work out.

I know a staffer that works for Republican Senator. It's funny to hear the disdain when they talk about Tea Party guys like Jim Demint.

If their hated by their constituents, their probably doing good things.
