I saw every last second of the game and I can still proudly say ITS GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL. Yes it hurts to lose like that but Im looking toward the future of this team and what they are gonna do in the grand scheme of things.

7 fifth year seniors on that Alabama team 1st string, including the QB.

And after watching the second string play...Alabama's days at #1 are numbered.

That game was so boring. no emotion what so ever.

Dude that team is stacked. I know we beat south carolina last week but bama beats 90% of sec teams like that. Now if we can begin to match them in terms of recruiting classes over the next few years we can bridge the gap.

Thought Dobbs played well as did the offensive line during pass plays. I thought the defensive ends got it handed to them. Also our receivers couldn't hardly anything today. But I oove the vols and can still see the progress. Go Vols!!!!!

We saw just how far we have tp go to be elite again. Oregon and Bama are just way better but if Butch keeps recruiting that may change in a couple of years

I'm tired of looking toward the future. We've been doing that for seven years and I want to play better NOW. We regressed today on both sides of the ball-- and it wasn't just that we played a better team. We played worse.

Saban will be gone in 3 or 4 years... a 4 and 5 star player want to play and setting on Albamas bench is not what the real player wants.:whistling:

The most inexcusable thing about today was the lack of energy and effort, especially early. Not good enough to wait late in the game in a big one like this. Yeah they finished strong, which is what I had hoped to see, but I didn't realize it would be a trade off for a slow, weak start.
