Purely hypothetical:

If JFK Jr hadnt been killed in the plane crash, do you think he would have ran this time, and do you think he would have beaten Obama?

Wasn't he a major dolt? I know it took more than a couple times to pass the NY bar exam.

That title didn't help his sister get the open Senate seat, so I don't think it would have helped him get the nom over Clinton and Obama.

If you don't study for the bar, you aren't going to pass it no matter how smart you are. JFKJr admittedly didn't study. Not even an issue

It is likely one or the other would have run, but not both. JFKJr could have been president one day if he had so chosen to do so.

Not an issue? Considering he failed multiple times, choosing to not study may very well show his lack of smarts.

What are you basing your opinion on that he could have been president one day? That he's merely eligible? Because he's from a dynasty?

JFK Jr. was so brilliant, he basically committed suicide. Sad that he took two people with him.

He took off in a single engine aicraft at the cusp of darkness, in marginal weather, over open water, and he was not even instrument rated. I know instrument rated pilots with thousands of hours, and they wouldn't dream of taking a single engine over open sea in those conditions.

Poor guy never realized his aircraft was in the death spiral, until the plane hit the water at full speed.

Jr. had a little but more media savvy and charisma than his sister. As we have seen this year, that can go a long way.

There is too many good jokes for the media there. Much like the same ones you heard when he ran for Congress, but on a much, much, much bigger scale.

He needs to work on his speaking chops before he even attempts to do anything that big.
