I’m not wanting to look ahead at all concerning Tennessee. However, let’s just discuss it. It’s super hard to beat the same team twice in the same year. Not impossible, but hard. Here’s what I’m hoping for.

I’m hoping for Alabama to win Saturday. I can’t believe I said that. However, that eliminates LSU a trip to Atlanta. That way they are out of the picture for the most part. Then the following week, Ole Miss can beat Alabama and prevent them going to Atlanta.

Tennessee smokes Ole Miss in Atlanta!

The Super hard to beat twice in a season is an oft repeated fallacy...look here for a brekadown.

I think BAMA is going to struggle to win this Saturday. LSU needs this win to settle down the locals. Plus if will be there game if the year. BAMA is bad on the road with penalties. This will be another great game right after ours.
Bama offense just as prolific as UT in many ways…don’t see LSU hanging

I think Bama wins out. If we beat UGA this weekend, I don’t care what happens in Atlanta. TN is in the playoffs. I would love a showdown against OM but it’s not going to happen. They’re too one dimensional on offense and their defense is too bad to take them there. LSU has a better shot. They’re much improved since our game, but they too won’t make it. I just don’t see them taking down Bama, even at home at night. Daniels is decent but he’s not elite. They need elite qb play to go toe to toe with Bryce Young. That loss against FSU and beat down by our Vols doesn’t help their case either.

Bama @Baton Rouge and @Oxford
They will have to play their best fb to win both

So, the loser of the UT/GA game is still in a good spot for the playoff as long as it's a close loss and of course they win their last 3 games?

I would prefer to play LSU over Bama. It is hard to beat a team twice in a season, but I like our chances better against a team we beat by 27 the first time.

OP, I was thinking about this too. But from your scenario, LSU would have one West loss to Bama, Bama would have one West loss to Ole Miss, and Ole Miss would have one West loss to LSU. Wouldn't that create a 3-way tie in their division? How do they decide who goes to the SEC championship?
