I just get the feelin that this thing might turn into a situation like what got us Dooley...Seriously, what if the bg time names all turn us down? Has the UT brand fallen that far?

And what if Chavis says no? You really want Fulmer with no Chavis? For that matter what if you get Fulmer and don't get a "great staff".

We better not have to go back to Fulmer, otherwise that should tell you all you need to know about the state of our program.

What do you mean who do we go after then? We don't even know if they're being targeted.

That's like saying what if Bill Bellichik, Derek Dooley and Mack Brown turned us down.

Let me throw this question out. If UT has offered every decent coach available and they all say no, what are our options? I'm gonna give 3 choices. None of them are popular, none of them make me happy, and a couple almost make me puke, but if desperate enough, which would you prefer?

UT swallows pride and offers Bobby "Scumbag" Petrino?
UT really swallows pride and hires back Fulmer?
UT takes a big chance and lets Chaney remain coach and hire new defensive staff?

I got laughed at, but I like option 3- just keep the interim tag on him.

If I thought it was an option, I'd take door #1, but I don't think we can do it. Too many administrative issues.

"Scumbag?" He had an affair and paid for it. Let him move on.

Side note: HE WINS FOOTBALL GAMES

The only name that makes sense now is Davis. Good coach and actually wants the job.

Everyone calm down, we are going to get a damn good coach. Don't listen to Tony, I love him but he is adding drama to this. Hart knows what he is doing. If he was running his mouth and letting info leak I would say not, but he is good at what he does and we will be fine.
