As I have said before on my post here, it is just to get some good talking going on and not bashing at all...
What if: Bama wins by 50+...Will the negative fans blow up or will they know this is still a rebuilding team.
What if: Bama wins by late FG? I think the recruiting gets even better than it is now for UT and you gain a lot of momentum heading forward.
What if UT wins? Reading the other post this is not a run down the road naked or go to Wal-Mart post but I a serious question...I think UT wins out due to the fact they will have killed the giant and will have complete confidence in what they are doing. I did not see that the last 4 years, but this years team has bought into what CBJ is preaching and they are thinking they can beat anyone.
I am looking forward to a good game with some hard hits, but a safe game.
Safe travels. I get to my RV spot tomorrow and let the good times begin.

Saturday changes absolutely nothing except wins/losses for UT...
it may change a recruit or 2's mind, but the process CBJ has going will continue
and continue to grow no matter the outcome...and he'll get to start fresh with 30 more players in the spring and summer next year along with the youngsters that
already have a year under this staff...

I am truly an optimistic person and I truly believe that all 3 of those scenarios are possible.
1) if we lose big, we keep on plugging away and keep growing as a team. Also, continue to recruit the same way.
2) if we lose a close one, we keep on plugging away and keep growing as a team. Also, recruit with our chest out and say we can compete.
3) if we win, we keep on plugging away and keep growing as a team. Also, we would have to finish strong...then we could write our own ending, because we will only get stronger over the next few years!

:lolabove:A month ago they might have beat us by 50. they cant do it now this is not one of there so called great teams, we will play with them and if we hit 62 percent of our passes with no INTs and 140 yards rushing we might shock the world. Go back and check what I said last week.

CBJ said another a** whooping, like what happened in Oregon, would never happen again and I believe him. A 50 point loss is out of the cards.

We will also have to have hit McCarrons quite a bit. We may load up and slow down the run (which is a huge task), but if we do, he cannot have time to stand in the pocket with no pressure. Without pressure, he is as good as any to ever play, but doesn't fair well with pressure (which few has been able to put on him). Add that to your equation, and I will almost guarantee victory.

You know checkerboards, I get what you are saying. I have been following this man since he was named coach. I watched videos from the locker room in Cincy, and I listened to the passion in his voice. I believe the team to a man would run through a brick wall if he told them to...hell I know I would. And I believe if he said this, then by God he will do everything in his power to prevent it from happening!

I agree for the most part considering the chances of victory are slim to none but to say a win would change nothing is silly. The SEC East goes from a fantasy to a realistic possibility with a win Saturday.

Thanks for the ones that actually responded. To the others that said rude things, well that is why fans hate each other. I come on here once a year (this week) to talk some football. I do not bash, I just like some good conversation.
I dont think we win by 50 either that was just a number for blow out purposes. I think we do win cause you will fill the box to stop the run, then we hit our WR on crossing patterns and fly routes. I see a 41-21 type ball game.

1) If we lose by that much a bunch of fans will feel that their unrealistic expectations got crushed and go back to saying the "sky is falling." But most fans will see the bigger picture. Snap and clear.
2) If we lose only by a close margin no one panics and we look for the team to keep improving. Snap and clear.
3) If we win, (which most people don't think we will) Butch will be crowned as the next Gen. Neyland and we'll never expect to lose ever again.

I for one believe we have a shot if we can improve upon the USC game, come out playing on all cylinders, but it's going to take playing at a level that we have not yet played at.
