Spurrier was coaching the Gators last night? Would he have tightened up in the 2nd half? I'm guessing he would've run it up 70-4 if he could.

1) He wasn't coaching last night.
2) Any Gator fan who is not satisfied with the margin of victory needs to be shot.

The way your quarterback played the last half of the season turned my opinion. Great ending alligator. Congratulations. See you next year in yet another classic...

You mean he wouldn't have tried to run the clock out like he did against UT in '96, in the process almost blowing a 35-0 lead?

though, in all reality, that was probably the best game PM ever had against the gators.

In fairness to Captain Stats, he was pretty good against the Gators in both '95 and '96.
I was thinking about the Captain stats thing. If PM motivates himself by stats and it causes him to improve then captain stats is not a cut on him. If you are a lawyer and a client comes to you and asks your record and you say 9-0 (never lost a case) and someone says that Hat is all about #s, you would most likely say, isnt that what its all about. Being concered over stats just keeps you sharp I feel.
