Volnation, what if?

What if in light of the coaching shakeup our players finally rally around Fulmer and play lights out against ND?

What if we come out and pound the rock, keep ND's offense off the field, and then beat Brady Quinn up on defense?

What if we somehow remember how to be physical and play to our potential?

What if Erik Ainge remembers how to calm the hell down and hit open receivers, who in turn catch the ball and make the plays their speed and athleticism should allow them to make against a weak ND defense?

What if we win at ND, then beat Memphis, Vandy and KY, then win our bowl game? (maybe Peach or independence)

That's 8 - 4, with Sanders, Stephens, and Washington all gone/demoted, and hopefully replaced w/coaches from other programs, and maybe we'll also get one special teams coach. With five wins in a row, maybe Trooper and CPF can get it done on the recruiting trail once again, and then the new coaches can come in and get ready to roll again in '06.

This year has been awful, but we still have the talent to do all this, guys. C'mon Vols, make me a believer again this Saturday.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't believe this program could be 3 - 5 after this Saturday. We can't let that happen.

tennessee will win out. they will beat the irish in overtime on a rick clausen pass to a 3rd string reciever who is in the game because of an injury in the 3rd quarter. ND will blow a 14 point lead late to set up overtime. ND will get the ball first and score a field goal from inside the 10. tennessee will return the kickoff to the 50 setting up the clausen td pass.

i have spoken.

my will shall be done.

What if they lose to Vandy?

Well, I hear Bruce Pearl has a fine looking recruiting class and a full-court press coming to town pretty soon.

I think that this may finally motivate the Offense to PREPARE. It will certainly make the game more interesting.

They're definitely losing to Vandy. Jay Cutler is unstoppable.

we will destroy vandy. cutler has no protection. vandy has no chance by the time they roll in. book it.

It could very well happen. Look at last year, we were a top 10 team, and ND was outside the top 25 and in the midst of coaching changes.

Maybe what comes around goes around. I'm predicting that UT won't lose again this year.

It will mean that everything was RS's fault, nothing was Fulmer's fault, and Fulmer gets to ride this year out with all of us thinking that he fixed our problems.

Your place is the one to show coaches the door. Or they leave on their own soon after they realize what they've gotten themselves into.
Get lost, Bammer, until next October in Knoxville and we'll be showing YOU the door.
