ESPN put out a ton of projections after the championship games concluded, and a couple even had us hosting IU. Barring a dream scenario like that, what is our best case travelling scenario?
we are most likely travelled to either Ohio State, Penn State or Notre Dame. I confess a lack of knowledge on these programs’ strengths and weaknesses. I suspect ND would be the least desirable as their defense looks good enough to stifle our offensive production, but I honestly don’t know.

It’s amazing how many people have Clemson at the 11 seed. If they are 11 that means they are ranked higher than Arizona State who will not be ranked inside the top 12. Clemson will still be ranked 15-16 and be seeded number 12.

Some of these folks are apparently unawarebof what the committee said about the movement of teams not playing...

We cannot move above Ohio State or anyine else that didnt play that was in front of us.

I don't think Penny State will drop below UT unfortunately. They may drop to the 8 seed tho

Then we have to ask who are the night games. If the Vols go to happy valley, I'd prefer it be a day game, cuz that place is wild at night and they will most certainly make it a "white out" game either way.

Not exactly. Last week, she had Miami in ahead of Bama on her projection. I have seen several people, including Dinich, projecting PSU ahead of Texas which makes no sense. Texas came into this weekend ranked ahead of Penn St. How does she and others think they should drop below Penn St after the CG results?

ESPN’s final prediction for Tennessee in the College Football Playoff is for the Vols to be the No. 9 seed, going to No. 8 Ohio State in the first round. ESPN’s Heather Dinich updated her projections Saturday night after the conclusion of conference championship games.

As stated above . . . She has been mostly spot on each time. They leak info via her I think.

UT at OSU.

Why do any of these idiots have Tennessee ahead of OSU when neither of them played this week? Did they just think the committee was going to change it's mind for no good reason?

Any Big Ten team is a great matchup for us. If it’s us vs Ohio State then we wouldn’t see Texas or Georgia until the national championship game as they will be on the opposite side of the bracket. And either Arizona State/Penn State/Clemson in the semifinal if we beat Oregon. I like that draw better than Georgia/Texas.
