I know we lost @ Ucla in 94-Peyton`s 1st game. We won in 97@Ucla. We lost to Cal in 07. We lost to Ucla in 08. So,in my days,we are 1-3. I was born in 80,so I don`t remember 81 USC L. I was smoking the reefer and put 06 as a L. We stomped Cal in Neyland in 06,35-18, I believe. We lost in 07 because of DeSean Jackson imo. We lost to Ucla in 94 because Colquitt(the black QB,not white P)was injured early in the game. 08 was just a typical Fulmer debacle. We should`ve annihilated them, but that was a team that lost to Wyo 12-7 @Ney! Go Vols!

We lost to U.C.L.A. in 1994 due to a punter named Larry Binion.

We lost to U.C.L.A. in 2008, due to poor q.b. play.

We lost to Cal in 2006 because they were really, really fired up. We played Cal the previous season in Knoxville and embarrassed them, so they were out for revenge.

We beat Oregon in 2013, because they have a new head coach and they underestimate Coach Butch JOnes and his troops.

I’m not sure if this data is complete but head-to-head records (overall) and road games for Pac-10 schools are as follows:

California: (2-2) road: 0-1.
USC: (0-4) road: 0-3 (includes 1940 and 1945 Rose Bowls).
UCLA: (7-6-2): road: 2-4.
Washington State: (4-1): road: 0-0.
Oregon State: 1-0-1: road: 0-0.
Oregon: (0-1): road: 0-0.

We have never played Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford or Washington. Source: Basic Opponent-vs-Opponent Record

An Arian Foster fumble lost the 08 UCLA GAME! In 94, Jerry Colquit got hurt on the seventh play of the game, Todd Helton replaced him and he was also hurt, I think then Peyton came in as a freshman. In 1981 we lost to Southern Cal at the Coliseum

We Beat UCLA in a big upset in 1989 out there. LOVE going to games in Cali! Just waitin for 2021 vs USCheat

We tied Colorado in a kickoff classic type game played in Anaheim I think.

We lost at UCLA my freshman year in '75, 34-28 I believe was the score (too lazy to look it up). That UCLA team had some good players - John Sciarra, Wendell Tyler, Randy Cross if I remember correctly.

You're right, it was 31-31. They won a share of the national title that year.

That was in 90. Col&GT shared the title. I thought the score was 41-41. That was the year we lost at Neyland to Bama 9-6 and to #1ND 35-31 or something like that. Go Vols!
