You know, I hate to even ask what Randy Sanders is doing now.

I am just glad he is gone............:yahoo:

We all know that Randy didn't get the job done on the Hill but he was a Volunteer player and coach so all y'all detractors need to just leave the man alone because he probably loved the Orange as much as any of us. As Paul McCartney would say, Let it be!!!

He did a hell of a job of making our offense look like crap and lost costing us to lose national respect, but Cut is back and all is well .

Good thing you weren't around when everyone was screaming for Cut's head before he coached the Volunteers to the NC game. Let it be, let it be......

Well the offense was as cool as a whistle. I just remember our db's catching hell with Florida receivers, especially in the 95 & 96 years ( Jacquez Green, Ike Hilliard, and Reidel Anthony ) I rememeber those Florida receivers well, they made me cry !

Sanders is doing a real bang-up job coaching our QBs. He seems to have instilled some confidence and poise in Woodson. Pulley's throws are 10 times more accurate than last season.

We're very glad to have him in the Bluegrass.

He's not the OC, not calling plays. Just coaching the QBs, and doing a dam fine job at it.

I think he was a good hire for you guys. He might have been in over his head as a coordinator, but he's a good coach.

I'll check back with you at the end of the season, to see if your sentiments are the same. Looks like you guys will go 4 - 8 this year with wins coming over

Central Michigan ( maybe)
Mississippi State ( hopefully)
Vanderbilt ( should be definite)
Louisiana - Monroe ( shoule be definite )

Interesting since they already have a win at 1-1. So are you saying they'll be 5-7, or what?

I agree with GA. Sanders may have been in over his head as OC, but was an excellent position coach for the Vols before that, and bled orange. (I also like to think he still bleeds more orange than Blue)

I guess if you think about. Last year Rick Clausen was the only thing he really had to work with. Rick did ok, but would make a better water boy. Why didn't Randy work his coaching magic with Rick?

Are you Rob Schneider? If so I love your coining of the phrase, "You can do it!!!"

You're missing the entire point. Sanders, before he was OUR OC, he was our QB coach. And he's the QB coach at Kentucky. That's one thing he's quite good at. Someone already said he was probably in over his head as an OC. He isn't the OC at Kentucky. The HC, OC, and DC will be the main people dealing with a 5-7, 4-8 season, not Sanders. Nor could he be to blame.

And...as a matter of exact fact...Cut left for ole miss after the regular season. Randy Sanders' first OC game was the NC title game he won against FSU. Historically, under either OC, we have a bit of a time not coughing up the big ones, especially against spurrier.
