4-3, WHY? Sal's 3-4 was doing just fine.

I think offensively Chaneys system was similar. We ran the up tempo no-huddle. Defensively, I'm glad we are going back to a 4-3 and think our personnel is better suited. Still lacking in overall team speed on both sides IMO

Looks like a lot of zone read option with WR motion. Works fine if your QB is a threat to run. Wouldn't mind if he used Chaney's system as long as CBJ calls plays. I think Chaney's play calling was not good.

I think the real change in the offense will be basic....Instead of Bray throwing the ball to the defensive backs, and hoping our receivers will intercept the ball for a completion, this fall Bray will be instructed to throw it to OUR receivers instead (OR Worley will...)..:crazy:

Its also easier to get pressure and therefore cover better out of a 43. If you look at it, Tn finished near the bottom nationally in sacks...and before someone says "Bama is doin fine in a 34.", they too had a hard time getting to the QB this year, and thats with top recruits filling the roster and Saban calling the blitzes. Theres a reason why more teams like to run it in the NFL than CF. Its a great system, but you have to have a solid group on the field that can run it.
