What is with all of these SEC out of Playoff discussion videos right now?

On3 and Josh Pate are both talking about it and I have seen it with other people. It seems like a non-topic with Georgia still being ranked #1 and undefeated.

Seems the more accurate assessment is there may not be TWO SEC teams in the playoff this year.

Last year when the first poll came out even though UGA was number 1 in the other polls, they were not number 1 in the one that mattered because of their schedule. Is their schedule any better this year?

Only way SEC gets shut out of the playoffs would be uga dropping two games or Bama dropping another one. Refs will make sure Bama and Ga are protected other than maybe the SEC championship.

Anyone who thinks the committee is going to shut out the SEC-who has won how many consecutive championships? 4? Not gonna happen. Michigan is dead in the water with their scandals. Best case for the B10 would be for tOSU to wax them next month and end the Wolverines season. I'm not sold on Washington either. P12 is starting to look a great deal weaker than they did at the beginning of the season. FSU will drop a game. Would not be shocked for Texas to take Oklahoma down in the B12 championship

Basically, it's way too early to worry about this. Things will take care of themself in the next five or six weeks.

Yeah, it is actually rare to have 2 teams from the same league in a 4-team playoff. I think it has only happened 3x (2017, 2021, and last year).

This... what is funny is pretty much every league is in the same spot, that is why these videos are dumb. Big12 is down to OU/Texas, Pac12 is down to Oregon and Washington with Utah as longshot, B1G is Michigan and Ohio State, ACC is just FSU.

Pretty much every league only has 1-2 teams. Pac12 might be the only exception.

Keep in mind there are 5 major conferences and 4 spots. Everyone is saying the SEC is down. If the winners of the other conferences are undefeated - the SEC winner will need to be undefeated. It them comes down to if those who pick the four really believe the SEC is down.
