Head-to-head results give a good framework to start:
LSU > Alabama > Oregon > Stanford
................... > Arkansas

I'd go with:
1. LSU
2. Oklahoma State
3. Alabama
4. Oregon
5. Oklahoma
6. Arkansas
7. Stanford
8. Clemson
9. Virginia Tech
10. Georgia

I agree with Oregon at #3. Right now they have just as good as an argument to have a rematch against LSU, if not a better one. They should jump Bama in the BCS rankings if they win out in the Pac 12.

They're not going to... I got into this with my Duck friends last night. The gap between Bama and the Ducks in the BCS was enormous, and while the Stanford game will close it some, the SOS will keep Oregon out of the title game assuming Bama wins out. BCS computers hate the Pac-12.

I did not realize that. There would be a meltdown if a 1 loss Bama gets into a NC over a 1 loss Oregon and/or a 1 loss Okie St. The best case scenario is for both LSU and Okie St. to go undefeated, otherwise all he!! would break loose. I'd love to see Bama and Oregon matched up in a BCS bowl somewhere.

BCS apologists are praying Okie Lite wins out. If that doesn't happen, the BCS is pretty much guaranteed to be a regular season rematch.

why? LSU/Oregon would also be a rematch, and Bama gave LSU a much better game the first time than Oregon did.

For starters, Oregon played LSU in a neutral site and Bama played LSU at home. Oregon would be Pac 12 champ if they win out, Bama would not even win their own division.

That's stupid. You're honestly going to sit there and pretend you think Oregon could beat Alabama? Give me a break. If they want the best two teams playing, it's clearly LSU and Alabama.

That's what is stupid about the BCS, everything is speculation for the most part. Is Oregon better than Bama? I don't know for sure, do you? What about Okie State? Do they have a say in any of this? Why even play the regular season if we are just going to speculate who the 2 best teams are?

Sure Okie State's gotta say in it. I thought the discussion was not including Okie State and just comparing a 1 loss Oregon team to a 1 loss Alabama team. In that case, it's Alabama every single time.

Even if Oregon beatdown #4 Stanford in Stanford's home? Even if it means Oregon will win the Pac 12 if they win out? I have a problem with having a team playing for a NC when they don't even play for their own conference championship. We'll just disagree on that all day long.

My original comment was about a potential meltdown including a 1 loss Oregon and/or 1 loss Okie State being snubbed out of a NC. The best case scenario to avoid mayhem is for LSU and Okie St. to go undefeated.

I have no problem when it's clear that Alabama would annihilate Oregon head to head. Just because they won a vastly inferior conference doesn't mean jack****. They'd be lucky to finish 3rd in the SEC West.
