I think one of the misunderstood aspects of physical play is how much mental play affects it. Many of us thought of Milton's overthrown long passes in 2021 a result of mechanics, touch, whatever. But it was probably moreso a result of swimming mentally. He started a game at QB after being on campus for a little over a month.
We kept hearing that he made those throws in practice. Then he made them in games last year. When your head is swimming, sometimes your body doesn't do what it's trained to do. As Joe is even more comfortable in the mental aspect of this offense this year, I think we'll see him be very accurate. And we'll see why coaches didn't lose fait in him.
