First and foremost be aware of a poster named DooleysOrangePants. Apparently he's an Auburn troll who is bragging to other Auburn fans about his troll job.

Anyways here goes:

-Pretty much zero respect. Not surprising. A lot of "can't make fun of Tennessee after the season they've had" talk.

-Much like South Carolina did, they are referencing their victory over Arkansas as a prelude to this game. They seem to think we are of the same talent level as Arky.

-They are concerned about Bama at this point. Chalking up us and Georgia as a win.

-There's a thread specifically titled "Volnation is not optimistic". Referencing posts from this site saying we will get killed.

-General predictions have us scoring between 15-20 and them scoring 38-45.

-They are pulling the "lets just hope our players get out safely since Tennessee tries to injure key players" nonsense.

-They are giving big time respect to Dobbs. Saying he will probably have great stats.

-One pretty cool thing I saw. A poster is asking about Knoxville because he's never made the trip. A lot of Auburn fans are responding saying how awesome our stadium and campus is and how cool the river is by the stadium. So I guess we're getting respect in that area.

-Quite a few posters are referring to this game as a "bye week".

-They're not happy about the 7 pt spread. Saying Vegas hasn't given them their respect all year.

-They're pretty convinced they will rush well on us. Especially the QB.

-They are referencing the South Alabama game a lot. That seems to be a pretty general trend among rival teams.

-Not intimidated by Neyland.

-Also not intimidated by our O-line.

Pretty much all I found. As I said, they are worried about Bama. They see us as a dust up for UGA, and they see UGA as a dust up for Bama. But a lot of them think they will beat Bama so the delusion doesn't surprise me.

There's only two ways I can look at Auburn. 1. I hope we beat them this weekend, they've surprised everyone this season but we can always hope for a miracle. 2. They have yet to play Bama, as such, they will have my full support in the Iron Bowl.

We don't deserve their respect until we take care of our business first. We have not played up to our potinial except for maybe USC jr

- I don't know that we match up well with the barn, but we have played well at home against our SEC brethren thus far this year.

- They are going to be destroyed by Alabama.

I really appreciate you making these threads each week. They usually add a little fire for me leading up to the game, but this week it appears that their points match my concerns for the game. Once again, thanks for putting these threads together each week.

They played and beat a pretty good A&M team and at the time 22 ranked Mississippi, both close games. Those are their two best wins. Pretty light schedule really so far..

I'd probably be offended by the tone of their comments, but I can't disagree with some of the points they are making. We are what we are: a 4 win / 5 loss team that is in the 80's or worse in total offense and total defense, and giving up more points than we score.

Of their comments I'd say, too much emphasis on that South Alabama game. I'm sure their analysis doesn't take into account Worley's three interceptions that made that game much, much closer than it really was or the two games that followed it (which showed we were better than that final score). I'd also say we are clearly better than Arkansas.

That said, we have the worst rushing defense in the SEC and they have one of the top 5 or 6 rushing offenses in the country. Those two combined make me think they have a point that Auburn should put up a lot of rushing yards on us.

In the end, I think Neyland will be a bigger factor than they realize, particularly since they are still a young team.

28-24 bad guys win a nail biter.

Yeah nothing greatly surprising here. I have been counting down the days until I can do the Vandy message board thread. That should be exciting. Not a whole lot of trash talking being done. Again, they're overlooking us. They are talking more about Bama than they are against us.

Everything goes in cycles and Auburn and the rest better get it done now because soon it's going to get turned around and we'll see how much of a "bye week" they'll think it is.

Ah our Alabama brethren; you know I really don't mind Auburn since they too detest "the red team." I would LOVE for Auburn to destroy Bama's chance at a 3-peat. An Oregon-FSU shootout would be epic.

Do you blame them? I'm feeling the same way as those posters, thought we would show up against Mizzou. May be another blow-out loss?

Auburn fans can overlook whoever they want, doesn't mean a thing unless they are the ones taking the field.

Myself. My Mother went to UT (1939 graduate) and Daddy went to Auburn. They'll be looking down tomorrow having a grand time. Go Vols!

The thing that bothers me is the fact that a lot of the media is praising Malzoney Baroney on how fast "he turned the program around." This guy and his offense never really left and he is simply picking up where he left off because the talent and depth for his offense was already there when he came back. Unlike us, they are not depth depleted, coming off of a national championship a couple of years ago that automatically injected the program with talent and depth. Looking at our schedule this year and what we have gone through, its really amazing that we have not completely fallen off the map. Hopefully the men in orange have not given up on themselves and play their arses off for Neyland. With all that, hopefully they will have truly learned from their lack-luster first half at AL and the sloppy, coaching questioned play against Mizz. Go vols and lets finish the season strong!

Someone tell them that they would probably love the Carousel Club. (if that place is even still there)

holy crap, forgot about that place. I used to have to walk by it when I was coming off the Fort to go do laundry at the place right down from it....
