What Other Message Boards Are Saying: Mizzou Edition

Maybe that is why there is no "Women of Mizzou" thread. We need a "Goats of Mizzou" thread.

Any news from the Mizzou boards on who will be the Mizzou QB after Dan McCullers eats Maty Mauk?

"-We wouldn't have beaten South Carolina if not for the crazy catch so apparently the South Carolina victory is insignificant "

I guess three consecutive three and outs in the fourth quarter and holding them to 4 of 14 third down conversions meant absolutely nothing.

Work took me to West Plains, Missouri. Picked up the local paper and the top story was about raising goats. True story.

I guess that beats the top story being about banging goats!

Had he not made that catch those 3 and outs wouldn't have meant anything.

By the same token, had the defense not made the stops they needed in the fourth quarter, a last second score might not have meant anything either.

Maybe I'm crazy but I think we actually kick the hell out of them.

I watched a much worse Carolina team completely outplay them.

Lucky catch? Hell if Connor Shaw isn't in that game UT wins in a blowout.

-back to the schedule discussion. Apparently we "haven't really played that hard of a schedule, because the only rankings that matter are the ones at the very end of the season"

I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more attention. This is absolute ignorance. When we played #6 Georgia they may very well have been the 6th best team in the country. Especially before Marshal and Bennet went down. They may finish the season unranked, but the Georgia that started the season is not the same Georgia that will end the season. Same with Florida.

No problem, friends. I've always read other teams' message boards the week before we play them. I don't post on them because I'm spoiled by how easy it is to navigate VN. But I figured I would start posting what I see over here. If anything just to fire up some fans before the game.

Had the officials called the blatant pass interference, no one would call that catch lucky. I also don't think it's lucky when someone who has made a number of acrobatic catches comes up with the ball like that. That's not luck, that's a freak of nature making his third clutch catch in the same game.

I find stating a fact to be quite intelligent; Dooley WAS the problem.

But it isn't a "fact" if you say someone or something is/was 100% of the problem when that isn't and wasn't the case. Dooley failed to resurrect the program. He brought in some good players and cleaned the program up from a crime and NCAA perspective.

He did not put the program where he found it. That was in small part Kiffin and in large part Fulmer.

It is not a fact to simplify it to "its all Dooley's fault".

Do you know the most widely consumed meat in the world?

In Missouri that would be like an article in Nashville about music studios.

I will agree with you on this, if you will at least agree with me that Dooley was a D'bag. :good!:
