-Luckily I had to leave for a prior obligation at halftime.

-We need two things to compete: Money to buy players and a competent head coach that understands the game of football.

-At least we didn’t get shut out.

-None of this REALLY matters, but my biggest gripe is how they quit in the second half. Jackson Mitchell just watching their 8th string TE shuffle past him for a TD pass was embarrassing. Not sure why Mora didn’t at least let some young guys in the game who might give A F and provide effort

-They beat us up and down the field all day long and it’s pathetic.

-That was an absolute pasting.

-These money games are just going to continue to get worse.

-Mora’s coaching is absolutely brutal. I’m done.

-The bad news: We’re awful. The good news: Hoops coming up!

-Feeling pretty good about my $100 season ticket investment this year. Netted me one win and two free passes to a hockey game. I’m not sure what I enjoy more, watching this team lose weekly or in road games I watch on tv, hearing how good a 1-7 team is. Now if they only eliminated the scoreboard...

-Even though we got a big payday for going to Knoxville - you can't make up for the bad publicity of getting destroyed by a top 25 team . It just reinforces the image that we are exclusively a BB school
Also- how does this game build confidence with current and future players?

-I didn’t get to listen to the game today, but I saw the stats. How in the hell do we get beat that bad and have that much time of possession? 😂

-This coaching staff is BRUUUTAL.

-Tennessee were a bunch of men among boys today.

-Why did Heupel grin like that after he shook Mora’s hand? Was he being an *******?

-Thank God this season is almost over.

-I’m not sure why anyone expected that we had a prayer in this game today? We’re UCONN Football doing UCONN Football things.

-If we weren’t primarily a basketball school, I’m pretty sure we would be division 3.

-Another week and another loss. Some things never change.

Is anything more predictable than a fan's ability to read minds and lips through the tv?

Meanwhile, our fans are bashing Mora's unsportsmanlike pace of the handshake.

Fortunately, the internet has enough asterisks to supply both fanbases...

What is really sad is that the score was not indicative of how bad it could have been.
Think about it Milton and the starters were basically out halfway through the 4th quarter lol because the defense kept scoring. and the offense was cooking. The starters basically put up their stats in 1.5 quarters.

They’ve never made it to the final four correct. You must be a casual right ? This is arguably the best team CRB has ever had at any stop.
Well see, but I find that hard to believe given he had a team with Kevin Durant, DJ Augustin, AJ Abrams, and Dexter Pittman on it. I also heard that about his Grant and Admiral teams, one of which didn't even make a Sweet 16.

It’s widely and commonly accepted among vol fans and most of the media this team is way deeper than those. If Tom Izzo is any indication, you should go back and read his quote after our exhibition.

I'll believe it when I see it. It would be vintage Tennessee basketball to have a team peak in an exhibition game.

I think they'll be good, but the NCAAT is a crap shoot, and it seems like the dice are always cold when it's our turn.

That team with Grand Williams and Admiral Schofield was great and they didn't make it past Sweet 16. Bruce Pearl had some great teams as well that did not achieve it.

To be fair, I sometimes think March Madness is partial luck, basically how well you are shooting. I played a lot of basketball when I was younger and some days you are hitting everything and other days you are bricking your shots.

Agree, I think this Tennessee team will be good but to predict a Final Four at this point is insane, especially considering our program history.
