I'm leaning towards BBall. What does everyone think. Should I go to the Football game and take a radio w/ me?

The one reason I might wana go to the Football game is besides my CHS pride I think this could potentially be Zach Helton's last game and Joel Helton's last game.

None of the above.

Go check out the 3A game between Livingston Academy and Knoxville Catholic. The two new teams to the region knocked off the powerhouses of the region, Austin East and Fulton, last week.

I would, anyway. :D

Come on, I'm giving you two choices here. Don't even begin to compare that game to CHS/Maryville.

Football.

I'm gonna go hit up an Oregon 4A playoff this next week. I'll see if 2345 can go, too.

As far as college hoops... I might buy some University of Portland tickets. The Chiles Center is pretty nice. Games against Oregon, Oregon State, Gonzaga, Pepperdine, Portland State... Good stuff.

I understand.

I'd go to the High School football game. Playoff action. You've got months left to check out UT basketball.

That's about the time the action starts getting real good.

The first round here sucked... Only one game was close. I have five games this next weekend within a 30 minute drive. B)

This is the second year in a row my school/LA has made it to the third round... got put out lost year in this round by Smith County in our old region. They moved east this year, not many people even thought they'd compete with teams like Fulton, Austin East, or Anderson County. The QB, Wilson Cates, is an incredible athlete... can take off on a 40 yard run at any time. He rushed for over 150 yards against Austin East.

First game this year between LA and KC was pretty good... KC won 24-21.

Just trying to make the case for the LA/KC game...

Luckily living about 100 miles from Knoxville, I don't have to make these kinds of decisions. Good luck.

Hey matt... I asked you this in an earlier thread, but it's way down the board by now and I dunno if you answered anyway... what school do you play for?

Heres a cut and paste of what i said in the other thread:

I play for CAK (Christian Academy of Knoxville). We lost to Alcoa 49-14, we were in the game in the first half it was 21-14, but in the second half we did terrible we got in their redzone 5 times for 0 points, it was a really tough loss because we should have won the game. Alcoa's coach said in the paper and to us after the game that we were by far the best team they've played other than Maryville so the game wasnt as bad as the score showed. It just as easily could have been 49-42 but we got beat up and alot of our key players were missing for the 4th quarter.

Oh, ok.

I was just wondering if you happened to be on any of the four Knoxville teams that Livingston Academy will have played in the last four weeks after next Friday night.
