DL coach at FSU. He must like coaching. He could have sat at home and made the same money per year for the next 2 years instead of working 50-60 hrs a week or more.

I don't think that you can technically say that FSU hired him to be their line coach since they aren't paying him anything. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Yes they are. They are paying him right at 200,000.00 a year to be the DL coach. UT was paying him 800,000.00 a year. We will now just be paying the difference, 600,000.00 a year. Him being hired does save us some money.

FSU hired Bama's DB coach to be their new DC and hired Sunseri as DE coach.

Here's what FSU has on Sunseri's year with us:

"Sunseri joins Florida State after serving as the defensive coordinator at Tennessee in 2012. With the Vols, Sunseri coached two of the nation's top defensive players. Linebacker A.J. Johnson was fourth in the nation and led the SEC averaging 11.5 tackles per game. Cornerback Byron Moore was tied for 11th in the nation in interceptions and he led the Southeastern Conference in that category."

(By the way, the entire defense looked clueless all season and was the worst defense ever.)

A Nole fan told me yesterday he thinks Sunseri will serve as a mentor for their new DC. I told him we hired a Bama position coach as DC, and he was an epic failure. I then told him FSU has now hired another Bama position coach as DC, and they brought in the guy who was an epic failure to be his mentor.

I wish we could sue Sunseri for malpractice.
