Been gone a week or so and when I come back all these new people are now talking about firing Fulmer . Whats going on? :fool:

the usual, getting humiliated by a historically inferior team usually brings out the Fulmer haters. I suppose it was brutal on the Dawg boards after losses to KY and Vandy.

The key word there is historically. Name one other team in SEC that has beaten ARK. Plus if Ainge is healthy no telling what happens the past two games. Give CPF a break he has done your program proud this year. As for the Dawgs we have bandwagon fans that have just started pulling for the Dawgs since CMR came to town and spoiled the fanbase the last years. These people haven't been fans long enought to live through the good and bad and these are usually the fans with the least footall knowledge and are calling for the coaches head

I find it very telling that some of TCHFCATUTK's most ardent supporters on this board are fans of other teams.

Not a supporter by any means but he is one of the best coaches in SEC history. Hell I hate to say it but he is a darn good coach.

Yeah, he's a regular Bear Bryant. Please, the guy has won two SEC titles in 14 years. Of course, if I were you guys, I'd certainly want him to hang around. I, for example, was outraged at UGA's firing of Ray Goff.

speaks volumes

Fade, in another thread I stated that it looks like UGA is moving in the right direction. Your Dawgs are showing improvement. UT is moving in the opposite direction. Everyone acknowledges that part of that is due to LSU and Arky being good teams and part of it is due to injuries. On the other hand, most people also realize that our Vols do not have any depth whatsoever and the team was completely unprepared on Saturday. Both of the latter problems are solely the coaches' responsibility. I doubt that much will come of this angst but as each year passes it becomes more and more clear that CPF is not going to take UT back to the BCSNC, probably not even the top of the SEC. As for CPF doing a great job this year, the ONLY area where UT has shown significant improvement is the passing game and supposedly CPF has let Cut have free reign over that so I don't see how he gets credit other than for not meddling, or at least not meddling until the 2nd half of the Arky game. Also, let's see what happens with VU and KY before we start slappin' ole Phil's back.

Thanks its about time we did something.

Trust me I understand your frustration. But Goff never won an SEC championship much less a MNC. Personally I would love for you guys to get rid of him and bring in some new blood thats never coached in the SEC.

Yeah, you'd really have fun playing a Tennessee team coached by Butch Davis or Greg Schiano.

Sure would. the first year anyway.
You're delusional. If we destroyed you with TCHFCATUTK this year, I'd hate to see what would be done to you by a competent coach. Along those lines, you guys sure have worn Urban Meyer out. I guess he's an exception to the rule.

It's certainly scored enough to be a combined 4-0 against UT and UGA. That's all that matters.

Supposedly Meyer will have his entire offensive scheme next year with Tebow but who knows the kid can run thats no question but his passes, the ones that I have seen don't inspire much

Agreed but do you think they will get better or will other coaches catch on to what they are doing. Ill go with the latter. But that JMO and we all know what thats worth. :)

And it's all that should matter in our 1 point win over AF. I get tired of hearing on here how we suck and ND is so great cause they crushed the Falcons. W=W.
