What you people are forgetting

Not sure why folks dont get it . The defense has little or no depth on the front . They can play about 1 1/2 quarters of football with this level of rotation . We have a freshman secondary .

We have a freshman QB ...who has a ton of potential but is inconsistent.

These things will improve ...but it will take time and recruiting .

If you expected something more than 5 or 6 wins ...if you expect this team to hang with top 10 teams ...you are delusional.

Do you even watch the games or know the team your pulling for?

Half of the secondary roster is made up of freshmen ..and a couple of walk-ons. The guys you listed are the only ones on the field IF there are just 2 receivers . This rarely happens. 25% of the guys you listed are freshmen. If we play 4 DBs ..half of the ones on the field are freshmen...or walk-ons. No matter , without a pass rush no secondary could do an adequate job. The front has no rotation....so there is usually no rush.

Playing hard and lacking depth are two very different things ...any moron that has watched a pop warner game would know that. It is no coincidence that teams like Bama , FSU , LSU ...are 3 and 4 deep across the D front and there is little or marginal fall off . We dont have that ..and the big boys dont just have it for show. You must have it to compete . We have some freshmen and walk-ons and squad level guys/ Now ask yourself ...what team NFL or college , has any kind of success playing their 300 lb guys 70-90 snaps a game . You will be hard pressed to find an answer .

Now you know why we have about 1 or 2 quarters of defensive football in us . You cant scheme around a depth issue .

Stick with ping pong . Its easy and fun and you dont need alot of smarts to follow it
