Recruited back in '87 along with Todd Collins. He was the top o lineman in the nation from Knox halls and never played a lick. Todd went on and played for the patriots after transferring to carson newman. He could have been an all time great for Tennessee. :good!:

Randy Hall was a high school All American and the Gatorade Tennessee player of the year in 1985.

It's not easy to find info on a player from that long ago who never really played at all but I seem to remember it was chronic back problems that ended his career prematurely. He chose Tennessee over Alabama with much fan fare and was on the USA Today 1st Team All America list as a Defensive Lineman in 1987...that's if the OP is talking about RANDY Hall. I have no idea who Jason Hall is.

Played for the Buffalo Bills for at least one season. I recall seeing his name called after a tackle in a home game.
