I'm just wondering what would happen in 1-2 years if the Michy or Michy St. job opens up.

Or if Wisconsin takes an Interim Coach and hires him NEXT year?

Does he have a dream job like Kiffin?

He told his players and media in Cin. That UT was his dream job. Rather you believe it now.

All I know is he wanted to be the Coach at Tennessee, he turned down other jobs to be in this position to be our Head Coach and I like it....The guy wanted the job, he wanted it bad and he got it.....He is young, he has the desire, and he has HEART..Everyone says he is a players coach and I like that....I think it's a great hire....

Most all coaches have a dream-dream job. I'm sure if he is very successful here and Mich/Mich St/ND were open and they wanted him then he would take it. He is not an SEC guy but I hope he does well here.

Well we've been lied to before but he allegedly passed on multiple schools in the hope that Tennessee would come calling so I think that's a good indicator of where he wanted to land. At least he didn't do some dumb pig sooey garbage like blockhead bielema so I'll give him the credit of being a respectable man.

This is reminiscent of the "What if Dooley goes to LSU??" threads from 2010.

Also, no one hires an interim coach unless you lose your coach mid-January or later. I don't know why that's so hard for people on this board to understand. We were never going to do it and Wisconsin isn't either; they have more than enough time to conduct a coaching search right now.

As a Vol AND Spartan fan, I find it laughable that anyone finds Michigan State to be a destination job. Michigan, sure.

His dream job is whichever program will pay him the most.

Which reporter was it that called him out by asking how long Tennessee had been his dream job? I LOL'ed.

We know all new coaches want to make a good impression, but come on, you're not doing yourself a favor when you oversell it like that.

I honestly think he meant a historically prestigious program with a rich tradition like TN is his dream job. I'm ok with that.

The guy had a pen in his hand ready to move to CO but held out at the POSSIBILITY of TN giving him a call.
