well thats a realistic point of view AFTER you've won a few titles...and made your name. Then you can afford to be unimpressed easily. Up to that point you almost have to endure thugs.

I think if you have good players with character and intelligence you would have a better chance of having a winning program than a team with selfish, me first talent because those types tend to divide the team concept...

Eh, it's much more important to society as a whole if they're all bible-hugging good guys, but I live in the middle of nowhere, I'm not likely to be affected by their crimes.

A better record means more to me, because football is a violent sport. Think about the aggression, lack of self awareness it takes to be a wedge breaker on special teams, or to not call that fair catch with the defense barrelling down.

A lot of these guys are violent agressive people who need to be molded military style. It takes a little anti social twinge to be out there playing football in the first place. They are bigger, faster and stronger than 99.9 percent of the people on earth. We cannot expect them all to hide these tendencies.
