I may have missed it if this has been posted but what is the status on Foster's injury? He is able to run a couple plays against UF but doesn't get a look against Marshall or Memphis.

Maybe just saving him for Georgia? I think Hardesty and Coker did their thing today. Either way I think it would be best to have 3 backs for UGA andf rotate. I think that would put that aspect of the game in our favor.

If we are planning on using him in Athens you would think they would have gotten him a few carries just to see some live action.

True, you wold think that. But maybe Foster wasn't quite 100% and didn;t want to risk further injury. I mean if your gonna give it a go, it may as well be in a big game. Who knows, I just hope we see #27 w/ a fee touches next week. But how good does it sound w/ #22, #2 AND #27 all 100% in that backfield going in between the hedges? I LIKE IT!! GO VOLS@!!

No need to rush him back early if we dont need him. We threw him in against florida because we were desperate. I think Coker is our best back right now since we need better blockers for our power backs to play good.

Foster said he was close but just didn't think he could make the necessary cuts. He says he will come back better than ever though.

Yeah. This from the same staff that wants to play the thrid string QB more series than the second string guy.

Foster said earlier in the week that he would only play in an emergency.

Unfortunatly for Bo, he cut his first series a little short when he attempted a handoff to Williams.

I would imagine that the long drive gave Crompton more snaps, but I never said that Crompton had less snaps, I said he had less series.

Go ahead and hop off my jock. I've got a wife.

Word. Coker looks very capable at this point, plus he's healthy.

The Crompton Agenda Machine in full force... a fumble by the back is the fault of Bo because Crompton didn't get that precious series... oye.

I have NEVER said that it was Bo's fault.

I have said everytime that only those two know for sure.

Bo shouldn't even have been in there to possibly screw-up the handoff though. That's the point I've made every time.

It's funny how you assume that a fumbled handoff is the QBs fault. This was JaKouri's first run, so, for all we know, he may have had his inside arm up or just may have dropped it.

Again, for about the 4th or 5th time.

ONLY THOSE TWO know whose fault it was. I'm not assuming anything.

Ah, it's really no big deal. Vols win, good day. :rock2:

I hope we have several more chances to discuss late game fumbles between 3rd string RB and QBs this season.

I tried to let this go hours ago, and you two keep giving me hell.

I'm not gonna cower and go away.

You want me to stop talking about it, then you go ahead and move on like I did hours ago, otherwise I will defend my opinion till I can't type anymore.

No you didn't. If you did, you wouldn't have taken that stab at the staff earlier in this thread. It was unprovoked and just showed that you haven't let it go.
