I started listening to the college sports shows on sirius xm a few weeks ago, and his show has caught my attention for all the wrong reasons. I have seen his name on here a few times but never really paid much attention to it. This guy spends more time talking about alabama than all other colleges combined. I have also noticed he takes shots at UT whenever possible. I don't think I have heard him say anything positive yet about UT. I noticed that he has said somethings that are clearly not true about UT, as well. This guys show sucks because of his blatant ass kissing of alabama, redneck callers, and repeating of topics. What's his beef with UT?

He is a UT grad also! Probably pissed that he couldnt make it here and is stuck in redneck hell. He's a bammer.

finebaum is the jerry springer of sports radio shows. he is an sec guy, but his loyalty lies with the tide. his show is usually entertaining because of the bama and southern white trash rednecks who know nothing about college football that call in. He's a pretty knowlegeable guy though. He covers all sec teams, but like i said he is a bama supporter

i live in alabama and listen to him a couple of times a week he just likes the different flavor of the month but he is on nick sabans junk like heavily on it... but he does most of his crap for ratings and more callers which half of the people that call in are ignorant or stupid so 90% bammers. but he did graduate from UT and when we are doing good he is on our bandwagon he is just one of those people that kick you when you are down and partying with you when you are high.......

Paul Finebaum is a UT grad. His show is out of Birmingham, AL. The reason why he hasn't said anything positive about UT is he runs his show with his audience....Alabama. It is more of a soap opra with all of his regular characters that call, the show is rediculous most of the time. I know this b/c I am from Birmingham, AL & dislike every minuite of it.

I've heard that he holds little or no grudge against the Vols in "real life" and that most of his show is just an act for ratings. I mean, riling up the bammers for a living would be an EASY job, wouldn't it? I believe Clay Travis has decided to follow in his footsteps.

Don't waste your time listening to that Crimson turd. He's a turncoat. He never says anything positive about anybody or anything except bummer. That show should be banned. The morning show and noon show on sirius XM, I believe channel 91 is good but in the afternoon turn it off finebaum is worthless

How he was able to get his show on XM is still a mystery. The individuals that call in on his show can best be defined as "ignorant".

Fineabum is a UT grad, not a UT fan. He despised Fulmer. His show is about crazy callers, many of which I'm convinced have mental issues. I love to listen just to hear the insanity.

Finebaum never provides an ounce of new/compelling info and his attempts at analysis are pedestrian at best BUT the regular callers are hilarious.....

As I understand it, Paul Finebaum is a UT grad and for some reason has always had an ax to grind against TN. This animosity seems to go back maybe 20 years or more. I don't know what Tennessee ever did to get
Paul Finebaum's panties in a wad, but, he sure seems to hate Tennessee.

Finebaum is not "pretty knowledgeable" about anything except manipulation and exploitation. He only knows limelight names associated with football and plays them like a guitar. Ask him a technical question and he'll duck it and hang up. I dont even think he watches football beyond ESPN highlights. The guy is a douche.

His callers are not funny, they seem to be true mental defects. If there is more than a double digit IQ among the regular callers I would be literally shocked. I listen to Sirius at lunch and hear actual football talk, incisive and interesting. Driving home he has a regular cadre of functional illiterates calling in discussing anything but football. The main comment is 'why do everyone put the hate on Bammers'......

I think most of his show is fake and staged and he just does all he came to make it worse. If those regulars that call in are as dumb as they act I don't see how they have walking around sense and the Finebaum show is the only way they can get any attention.

Paul lived on 5th floor Morell hall, He has always been a
sacarstic guy, graduated in the colledge of journalism and wrote for Alabama newspapers, until he got his radio gig.....he has not said anything on radio about UT that everyone on this forum hasn't thought. You should have heard how hard he was on Pat Dye. and Mike Shula

Rick Nuehiesel Sp?? Said it best. He said that UT has everything that a coach could want and more, and is a prime job. He said he finds it hard to believe that all these people would have turned the UT job down. I UT has actually interviewed and told no by every coach that the media decides to throw out there as a candiddate. The truth is that only a couple guys have been offered the job, not 5-8 coaches like others want us to believe.

If you have to ask ,then your knowledge of southern football is limited..

Went to UT..big Bama fan..

Ill hang myself and listen..
