What's the Over On how many Coaches turn down bammer?

I see Bama as a sleeping giant, the right coach could get them turned around in a hurry......what helps us is they seem incapable of hiring a good coach, just look at the last few, Dubose (a joke), Price (good coach but a perve), Shula (clueless), and the next coach at Alabama (my predicition).......Hal Mumme.

Just making sure

I think I've got a better chance at that job than Hal Mumme.

what I was saying is that given their history of great hires, I can see Hal being their next choice

Chuck Amato may be free after this season or Jeff Bowden I hear his offensive genius is on par with Shulas

First, I'd say it looks more likely than not that Shula stays. Second, BAMA is a pretty young team, esp. on defense, so they might turn it around enough next year to keep him on even longer Third, if he does leave...

...there seem to be plenty of candidates to take the job more qualified than Shula. And since BAMA is clear of the NCAA now, it is a very attractive job.

But me thinks his days are numbered. I hope not; I think he's avg at best and would like to see him stay.

Nothing will be made public until after the Thanksgiving Holiday. I doubt that he will be terminated even though most people around here, me included, want him gone. If he doesn't turn control of the offense over to someone else he WILL be history even though it may be next year before it happens. Just because you were a decent QB in college doesn't mean you will be a decent OC/Playcaller.

will never happen, but I'm hoping Shula stays, because as long as he's there that's one less SEC team I have to worry about
