Whats the status of Kenbrell Thompkins? What about ambles?

Rivals has us as the only people on his Radar. They have us as a "low" and nobody else registered. Has he confirmed any new visits? Would love to have him, but hasnt there been rumors about him having bad grades? Whats up with this mysterious, yet highly ranked beast of a WR?

Also---

What about Markeith Ambles? I feel kinda bad for him because his FB is littered with Vol fans just trying to talk him into coming, leaving him these ridiculously long messages about our school. They are thinking its gonna be THEIR message that pushes him over the edge. haha. Im not his friend on Fb, just thought id check it out. rather sad to see all of our fans pressuring him like that.

Aaaanyway, how did he enjoy his visit to USC?? Insiders let us knowww!

(I know that there is a thread dedicated to them, but I have both WRs on here, making it easier to get opinions on both and to let you guys know how crazy people are pressuring M.A.)

Thompkins is gone. He apparently didn't qualify as a JUCO transfer and will be able to open up his recruitment again for the fall.

Ambles is gone. He's not coming to Tennessee. He's going to USC, Bama, or LSU. He loved his visit to USC...especially the limousine that picked him up (secondary violation)...after quoting to a USC site that X runs things the right way and doesn't get violations. Comical.

Some people still hold hopes for Ambles... He and Lane will be buddies at SC
Thompkins didnt graduate, so the LOI does not matter.

I hope everyone mentioned in the posts above get herpes...just kidding.

Bummed about Thompkins, thought he was All Vol, when Kiffin left, so did any chance that we get Ambles.

We shouldn't let him play his game. We already have several really good receivers committed. If you will look they are ranked even high than he is. The last thing we need is more drama. If we were desperate for a WR. than maybe it is a necessary evil, we dont need a little T.O.. Ask him one more time are you coming here or not? If it is anything other than yes, pull his offer and move on. We only have 28, is getting 5 WR's really going to make our "team" better? we need to chase more "big uglies" . JMO

These FB users are ust showing there love for tha school.. How is that rediculas?? He accepted there Friend Request also so he must like the attention... He must of denied ur friend request??

Yeah with the NCAA looking at USC the Kiffin hire was great for them. I am sure he wont break any rules. :mf_surrender:

thats funny,e he accepted me as a friend on FB and then after I seen how much he loves attention and wanted it then I deleted him.We are not hurting at WR and losing him only hurts us on the ratings not on the field.JMO
I think with people posting on his FB just love Tn and wants him here.No I never posted anything.

I think Ambles is going to end up being a very very good reciever. He looked awesome at the Army All American game and the reports were that he was torching Elam and Allen in practice during the week. Losing him definatly hurts, unless we sign Da'Rick Rogers of course.
