then check out his program notes Nealz Nuze at boortz.com. other than his banter with his co-workers and callers, what you read there is what he talks about.

I find most talk radio personalities to be downright obnoxious, self-serving a-holes. I can't stand talk radio.

I find Savage to be the most entertaining.

I listen to Savage for the same reason I sometimes listen to Air America - just to see what off the wall thing they are going to say next.

G.Gordon Liddy is sometimes entertaining as well just because he's nuts.

You are completely correct. Even Boortz has become too predictable. Rush and O'Reilly are terribly boring. You never know what Savage will say. He is also somewhat of an amatuer historian who doesn't let facts get in the way of a good point.

I'll sometimes listen to Rush's opening monologue, but that's it.

If I ever get depressed in the afternoon I just turn on Dave Ramsey. His callers never cease to amaze me.

Hey Dave, I am $200,000 in debt and I make $12,000 a year. Should I sell the Benz? Does that mean I will have to buy a hooptie?

Today it was "Hey Dave, I've got $80,000 in student debt, $15,000 in credit card debt and a $1,200 house payment. Should I sell my rental house?"

I wonder what Dave drives. I have heard him say you can get some reliable transportation for $3000.

Anybody ever listen to the freak show that ensues after midnight on Coast to Coast AM? Those people are nuts.

I'm not sure about 3k, but my mom bought a Corolla with 80,000 miles on it for 5k and I was driving it until a couple of years ago with 225,000 miles before it croaked.

Why isn't Al Franken on the list? :) :birgits_giggle:

That's because for some reason talk radio just doesn't seem to match the liberal mentality... they'd rather listen to Howard Stern.

I recommend listening to Art Bell (or the new guy) sober. He had me looking for demons in my back yard one night.

I've laid in bed listening to that show before when they had audio of ghosts and "shadow people" and literally had to turn the radio off and get up for a minute. :)

Before marriage I used go to sleep with the radio on sleep function. I would almost always start on Art Bell, but would have to find ESPN. That stuff is too hardcore to sleep to.

That is EXACTLY what I do now. My clock radio stays on all the time with an earbud hooked to it. I start on Art Bell, then inevitably after 10 minutes I'm freaked out and flip to ESPN radio.

Same on Art Bell - I generally think they are a bunch of nutzo's but it can be pretty spooky. It got me when I was driving down an unfamiliar road in the middle of the night. It was a ghost story night. Not the most comforting radio.

I put Glenn Beck - he gets too preachy and self-righteous but I love the Moron Fight to predict the Monday Night Football winner.

I love it when people call in claiming to be time travelers and then when they describe the future it sounds suspiciously like an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
