Saw a stat where Auburn attempted just 9 passes against Arkansas. They pretty much ran it down Arkansas's throat. Should we stack the box and dare them to throw despite the fact our secondary is known to give up the big play? In my opinion, we've got to force them to run it up the middle on us -- where AJ is in his element. We've got to limit to the opportunities for Auburn to spread us out too wide and beat us with speed (to the edge and over the top). The task is going to be tough one, again facing a dual threat QB in Marshall. Who's our fastest LB? Sapp? Should we make him or perhaps "Free JRM" and give him spying duties? I don't envy Jancek this week. He's got his work cut out for him. What would you do? How would you game plan this weekend? What are you willing to give up to protect our achilles' heel, our lack of speed?

something similar to the game plan against usc and nothing from the game plan last week against mizzou.

I'm taking the kids out of school Friday and going ziplining in gburg. We will then eat an 8 course meal before eating a bunch of taffy and going to the mirror maze. We'll then go to the cabin and chill out by the fire. Saturday morning, we will head over early to circle park, then head back to the cabin after the game.

Remind me what was the difference - aside from execution.

i felt like we were much more aggressive against USC and it seemed as though we planned on mizzou having a qb who could not run...although you could be right that we just looked more timid.

Auburn can throw a great deep ball, especially their backup Jeremy Johnson. Thats not a good idea.

Are you getting this 8 course meal in Gatlinburg?

Donate alot to the 700 club and pray 5 hours a day until kickoff. On a serious note stack the box with 8 and put a spy on the QB if they are gonna burn you make um do it through the air at least this wont eat up as much clock and you can get some time of possession in there and hope to match them punch for punch. On the flip side the the O flops you could get blown out fast by taking away the run and forcing the game on our weak inexperienced secondary take your pick

they can pass the ball. most games, they have not had to because of how they run the ball. When rushing for over 250, they still pass in the neighborhood of 200 yards. Miss St held them to 120 yards rushing but they passed for 340 in that game.

they will take whatever the defense is giving them. In our case, our defense can give up a lot of rush yards and pass yards.

Good analysis. Add good tackling.

My game plan is to miss the TV when I throw my shoe in its direction when we miss a tackle.

My plan is to go to the game and hear people bellyache about people standing up...but not loud enough that the standees can hear. I will watch us drop passes, get a hands to the face penalty, miss tackles, throw interceptions, false start, and I will still be cheering with all I got and my voice will be gone.

I'm no coach and I'm not gonna criticize whatever gameplan we see Saturday, but I'd love to see some aggressive play calling and some blitzes on defense.

If we can force them into 3rd and long consistently, I think we have a chance.

Offensively we need to focus on running the ball, and mix it up a little. Don't throw the ball around the yard like last game. Defensively stack the box and force them to throw and we'll have a good chance.

Cant help of thinking about season opener in 2016 that's when the big orange will be the azz kickers instead of the receiver.
