When Did Hart's Search Begin?

When did Hart realize it was time for Dooley to go and find a new HC?

The difference in the one month could have been to our advantage if he realized it early enough, right?

If he was any good it would have been 10/27 but apparently he didn't do a thing until after his lame press conference.
These guys get 700 grand to not have a solid plan? This is pathetic.

My guess is that he was arrogant and waited two weeks before seriously talking to people. Now that he has a PR Nightmare on his hands he will put the search into Over Drive.

Unfortunately, once you get spurned publicly, it makes it harder for the next person to say yes.

Fire Hart :)

No evidence to suggest it started any earlier than last weekend. It seems apparent to me that Hart was banking on keeping Dooley around for as long as possible and didn't want to find a new coach. And when he absolutely had to, he responded by sitting around for 2 weeks and then going after second tier guys.

I don't care if we get turned down by 20 top tier guys, at least try and make them serious offers. Hart has shown that he is unable or unwilling to go after top coaching talent. He needs to be fired as soon as possible.

I have had up until this point some faith in Hart. I am now beginning to believe that he sold the boosters on Gruden for X amount of money. I firmly believe that Gruden told him that he was interested for that amount. When Gruden began getting cold feet (yes, I went there) due to more and more money for assistants, NCAA rules, and control issues, I think Hart was blindsided. I firmly believe that the Haslam's weren't completely sold on Gruden after all the new requirements and doubts surfaced. I think when Grude finally said no was when Hart started. Ergo our problem.

Well does our new hire subside your worries about Hart or just notch them up a bit??
