so the landscape of college athletics is changing. Does anyone know when the schools will actually begin competing in their new conferences?

Well Boise starts play in 2011, but didn't Nebraska start in 2012?

Everything I've seen says Nebraska and Boise State start in 2011 and Colorado in 2012.

from ESPN: "The Big Ten's board of presidents and chancellors unanimously welcomed Nebraska to the club on Friday, just a few hours after the school formally disclosed its interest. The move takes effect July 1, 2011."

"The Buffaloes are scheduled to begin competing in their new conference in July 2012"

couldn't find anything in writing on ESPN's site about Boise States' jump date, buy sportscenter has had 2011 on their broadcast.
