The 1st fumble could've been on the lineman and RB as well as Pete.
Sack fumble happens all the time. QBs hold onto the ball all of the time. In practice, I'm sure the OL blocks very well and he had too much faith in them. Sure it was a bad spot, but I don't jump ship I pull him aside and preach quick throws.
1st pick is inexcusable for sure, but 1st 2 TOs could've happened to Worley against a great defense.

So Jones took a shot with Pete like everyone wanted yet all I see is Pete should've been pulled after the SECOND fumble. You do realize they had FIVE total plays. How can you decide if Pete can make plays Worley can't (complete a dang pass) in freaking 5 plays?

So should he have been pulled after the 1st pick? Probably. Yet I think CBJ looked and saw what I did after on the fumbles and gave him one more chance. I think we should have settled on a FG but all of the negavols would have posted "playing not to lose it's Florida go for it" like they did against Oregon.

Should have been pulled after second fumble /or sooner, when he started getting confused about the play call from the sidelines(??? come on).

Well seeing it now he should have never played. I said before Worley>>>>> Peterman, but I did want a freshman and still do!

If I was the coaches the 3rd possession would have been it.

Also I thought Peterman was supposed to be much better than Worley because he had more schollarship offers.

To answer the question, I think he should have been pulled when it was 17-7 with 6-7 mins left in the half. We needed a spark and a score. I'm also watching from home and am not the coach.

Same thing being said about Worley last week. So what we throw him back in for same result or throw in Fergy and have a couple pick 6s? Either way Jones was screwed.

Ferguson needs to get the reps this week and play against South Bama as a preseason game and get Dobbs ready as the back up, and then we move on!

I agree. But it's painfully obvious that there is no separation between the two during practice. Otherwise we wouldn't have a battle. My opinion is that we should cut the read option out. We don't have the personnel yet.

Do we really want to throw a true freshman in there against Florida in the swamp? At least Peterman had some game experience and it's his 2nd year. A lot of ppl wanted Dobbs or Riley but that's a tall order for a guy who's last game was at the high school level. So if one of them would of played and started making mistakes like Peterman did today how would we all react then?
