I've seen across several threads about storming the field, or hoisting the coach up after a win and people acting like we should hold composure and act like we've been there before. While yes, Tennessee is a true blueblood school, and has been a juggernaut power house in the past, it's been over 15 years since we've been relevant in any real standing in CFB, or the SEC. The new fans and even some of the middle 30's group has been clinging to threads of hope almost their entire time as a UT fan.

When we beat Alabama, there should be nothing held back on the celebrations. Storm the field, take to goal posts and sink them in the river. Hoist CJH on your shoulders and carry that man around forever. Show the passion this fan base has, show how much we care and how much we appreciate this team and the strides they have made the last two years. This is the atmosphere we want, this brings in new fans, this brings in the 4 and 5 star recruits. 17 year old kids in high school looking to make their decision, they see a fan base as passionate as ours storm the field to celebrate this monumental victory over a century old rival, that's what memories are made of.

TLDR : Celebrate. Celebrate hard, and Enjoy it.

lol, I had to be somewhat catchy, I think there's a real chance we win this game though. But I want people to realize why it's important to pull out all the stops in the celebration. It's an important thing for more than just our fanbase.

When Tennessee wins(37-35 in my opinion) ESPN and the Sports Media will work themselves into a frenzy blaming the Alabama loss on Bryce Young not playing or being well below par during the game because of his messed up shoulder. They will then debate whether Nick Saban and Alabama is slipping in the SEC and Nationally in College Football.

And it won’t bother me one bit. If we beat Bama, bring on Georgia and the real possibility of the SEC championship.

There is a certain section of the Vol Nation that gets upset if Tennessee fans show any confidence at all going into a game.
This is the first time going into this game in 15 years where vols fan should have some confidence. I don’t understand why any of us wouldn’t.

I was one of those against acting like it's a once in a generation type win, but I've come around because of the simple fact that ... right now it would be a once in a generation win.

Once we establish ourselves again as a year in and year out elite program, then we can act as if we've been there before, because we have, and will again.

What if we end up losing like 42-3 lol. Just a total beatdown. How embarrassing would that be…

Don't do that, that's not nice lol. No bad JUJU

Especially for the younger fans and new fans, this game is huge to understand just how important the TSIO is to both programs.
