When Will Early Enrollees Be On Campus?

What date will the EEs be on campus this year? I just can't remember. Do they have to wait until early signing day? Looking forward to seeing Merklinger, Carter, etc. at practice.

January for spring semester. They are eligible to do bowl practices as well.

agreed, and...

I don't think they can do anything with the team until a new session starts. pretty sure there is a winter/December mini-mester people can enroll at UT for the bowl game timeline. I think they can be on campus anytime after financial aid/signing day, but would just have to wait to practice, go to meetings, or use official team resources. I am sure from day 1 they are given the nutritional plans and work out schedules and the play books, just not an active part of the team.

found this: Per NCAA rules, an incoming player can practice during an "official vacation period" immediately before initial enrollment as long as the student was accepted by the school in a regular, full-time program of studies, isn't still enrolled at their previous school, and is eligible under school and NCAA requirements.

so they may not have to be actively enrolled in a mini-mester, just accepted to the school, which I take as financial aid.

I think if i had a choice I’d rather the guys like Ginther and Satterwhite get here early to provide competition inside. Yeah we’re not deep there

I hope they can all be here for bowl game practice in December. I'm really excited by the upgrade in talent with the incoming 2024 class, particularly in the secondary.
