Not a lot to talk about this week.
Despite still being listed on our “depth chart”, there’s no way that Cooper will play vs APSU.
Thought it would be interesting for us to guess when he will be back.

Don't know his injury but I'm betting Florida game!If he dont play in that game his injury must be serious!

if Cooper is ready this week I doubt he plays against APSU. I would expect him to play vs FL next week.

If he can play this week he needs to, if only for a drive or 2 to get the recovery process out of his head. Show himself everything is fine and he can go 100%. Gonna need that 100% for Florida.

He’s a Senior, right? I’d think he’d be hard to keep off the field in his last game against the gators

Not a doctor and no real medical knowledge but if his injury is a hernia, as has been shared by some, it seems you would want as much recovery time without straining it as possible to avoid re-injury.. That makes me think he will not play vs. AP even though it would be good to get some game action before things heat up. I could see him missing Florida as well since huepel will want him back for later in the season as other injuries start to pile up and the risk of re-injury goes down. If he doesnt play vs florida I expect him back when USC comes to town.

I think Florduh is a best case scenario. As was said before, hernia surgery, if true, takes minimum 4 weeks to heal, then really 6-8 weeks for you to be near normal.

With the amount of strain he puts on his mid-section when blocking, he could need more than that.

IIRC, August 9 was his surgery, so its been 4 weeks today.

I’d be stunned, thrilled, but stunned if he’s back for Florida.

Sounds like they’re planning to play him next week. Guess we will know more next Monday after practice.
