Who we are since we haven't played anyone who we can judge who we are since we haven't played them yet?
AP & WKY can't judge to easy.
Oregan way to talented, too fast, too deep, we had no chance anyway to play with them. Can't judge..
So what team on our schedule let us know what level we are? Just curious when we can start analyzing coaching, play calling, talent, effort, or lack of any of the above. What team?

we will have a good understanding of what we look like after Saturday. Granted, Worley will be starting and that won't give us the "whole picture" or maybe the picture that a lot of us want to see.
Be patient, we will get there, this is a big hole that CBJ has to climb out of with the talent on this team. I think he can do it, just takes time. Not what you want to hear I know but you can't expect him to come in and win 10 games in year one with a depleted roster like we have at the moment.

Bad QB is more important than the backup D

Our defensive problems are just as bad as the qb play. They are both awful though. Swafford,Arnold,Moore, Harris, propst playing is just as bad as Worley playing. If sutton was at most other places he wouldn't be starting. Doesn't matter who the qb is bc this D isn't going to stop anyone.

Bama, Georgia, South Carolina all gave up 30 or more to SEC teams already. Let me know when we can score on an SEC team

You shoulda learned from last yrs Vols. averaged 35 or so a game. Got to play defense. Who cares what bama and the rest do. They win. If they give up 30 we will give up 40-50 and then it doesn't matter who your qb is.

Lets face the facts.. We have zero chance in Hell beating Florida. The WKU football game was a fluke! We run a fast pace scheme with silly looking runs and have No Depth . Slowing it down and running any kind of power formation would make us way Better with Our Depth issues!

Are you looking for an official starting line to begin your *****ing? Anyone who's watched the first three games knows who we are. We have few strengths and many areas of growth. All the armchair qb'ing in the world ain't gonna change that.

Yes, we've heard we're rebuilding for years, and that sucks. But guess what, it ain't changing for at least a couple years.

Soooo, hunker down, hope for the best, expect the worst, and support those damn VOLS!!! GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!

It would help in the short term.. Might make a bowl game.. CBJ doesn't run that system and he's not recruiting for that system.. So put that in , make the toilet bowl, and watch us flounder like fish learning his system next year? The short term benefit isn't worth the long term effects.. Process like Doolittle used to say.. It hurts, but it's necessary..

When Worley isn't starting.

If CBJ keeps Worley as the starter, it's only because he feels he is the best option he's got. He's being paid BIG bucks to help turn this program back to winning ways. Don't you think he's making the choice as what he thinks is his best option to win? Worley hasn't played to the level he needs to, but apparently, the other 3 are not as good as Worley at this point.

I do agree that at some point, they need to try someone else if Worley doesn't elevate his game. Peterman didn't look very good against AP, 3 points in the second half. I don't know about Ferg and Dobbs. Could be one or both are gamers, playing better with the lights on than in practice. Ferg. was a real winner in HS. If they do try a freshman, my bet is that it would be him. However, that position has got to be elevated, and elevated sooner rather than later, or it will be a very long season.

We may play with Florida UGA or USC but the measuring stick is Missou, Auburn and Vandy. Those are comparable teams talent wise.
