who spent most of August trying to convince me Missouri was anything other than the garbage I knew they were?

I think they are in the same room as the people that had Kansas in their top 10 and Auburn winning the SEC West.

I knew Kansas was utter garbage. Guilty as charged on Auburn.

I can honestly say that I didn't get Auburn from day 1. I never did buy that a transition to a new offense was going to be that smooth.

You're right about Mizzou though. They are nothing more than a Big 12 North fraud . . . which is what they were last year.

You're in good company on the Auburn pick. Lots of it. As disappointing as UT's season was, Auburn's was clearly worse, as expectations were higher.

This reminds me of how, in 1978, Wisconsin's fans stormed the field at Michigan State following a 55-2 loss, chanting "WE SCORED FIRST!"

Does anyone think they need to re-shuffle the big 12 south with the big 12 north?...it seems to be a little lopsided??

It started off as Kansas, then Missouri, then Texas Tech. When will people come to realize that defense wins championships.

I'm somewhat guilty on Mizzou. I thought they would atleast be able to compete. As far as Kansas and Auburn, I thought both were overrated.

I'll own that. I was on the bandwagon claiming Mizzou was something. Never said a word about Auburn though.

I was right about Missouri, Kansas, Auburn, and Clemson.

I was effing waaay off on LSU.

that was me. I thought LSU's defense would still be monstrous. I was dead wrong.

Got in several tiffs on here with a couple of the Mizzou fans telling me I was clueless about football because I didn't believe in their team.

I was right about the Big 12 fiasco.

I thought Auburn would struggle, but I didn't think they'd go 5-7.

I was way off on LSU. Man... way off.

I did too but I didn't predict them to win the west. I had Auburn for a lack of anybody better.

I thought they would win the west going away. New offenses are just too tough to get right with a new QB to boot, so I assumed Auburn would struggle.

I was in school up there and we were playing them annually when they were the best school in that neck of the woods. I just don't see them getting back there because the guys with big wheels aren't headed up there any more.

I let the bowl game blind me.

Alabama really had the stars line up for them as well as having a hell of a coach too.

Alabama's schedule looked daunting early, but ended up being a herd of patsies. Nonetheless, Auburn and LSU sucked relative to expectations.

I'd like to hear from somebody, anybody, outside the state of Alabama who predicted the Tide to win the West and/or go to a BCS Bowl.
