Anybody else following this story? It's been unraveling the past few months. There was a ton of mystery at first but now it's become apparent that these two are absolutely nuts. They think the apocalypse is July 22nd and they probably killed her two kids because they thought they were possessed. There are about half a dozen bodies along the way, including his wife, her ex-husband, and her brother.

I think they brainwashed themselves intentionally. My theory on what actually happened...

They wanted to be together and they wanted the husband's $, so they convinced themselves of this dark and light BS so they could reconcile their religious beliefs with murder. It's possible Daybell brainwashed Lori, but I don't think she gets that absolution until proven otherwise.

Tylee may or may have not seen what happened, but whatever the case may be, they convinced her to bear false witness. I think she didn't see what happened, they told her their story and that they needed her help confirming that story. Then Tylee started feeling guilty about it and threatening to say she didn't really see anything. JJ overheard these conversations so now he knows what's going on. So they convinced themselves the kids were dark because they had to get rid of them.

Then the brother had to go, because he knows too much and no way was he going to be cool with the disappearance of the children.

Then, since you got 5 bodies on you already, why not kill Daybell's wife and collect that insurance? She's dark too!
