We didn't slow Turner down, we beat them on one of his best nights. That is quite an accomplishment, Elite Eight baby!

I must say that Turner is all that and a bag of chips. I am not sure that Wall would be my first pick in the NBA lottery. He really showed me a lot today and truly earned that player of the year but he is goin home!:dance2:

It was like I said on another thread, we did with him like we did with Downey and South Carolina: he was going to get his points eventually. We just made sure that he wasn't going to get any big help from anyone else, and that he'd have to be the one to win the game for them.

it was a great game but i think poorly referred game especially in the first half and deep in the second half besides the last min they finally gave our boys a fighting chance!!! i agree with rocky top cove for all of us tenn fans need to stay classy. you know if turner hits one of those threes in the last min it might be a different game at the end. i sure hope the big guys down low play like that the next game. but scotty hopson needs to play like he can "show" sometimes and then we just might be alright go vols baby

This was one of the best college basketball games I've seen in a while. Both teams played great ball. We were just able to get more second chance points because of Chism, Williams, etc. We dominated the paint. GBO
