Well a lot of people are saying we have a lot of silent commits so don't worry this staff will pull a mean class after NSD

Commitments mean nothing til NSD. At this point the best thing that the coaches can do for recruiting is just to win.

Why do we have to have one of these threads after every game?

Perhaps you don't have the patience to follow recruiting. Tennessee will get "theirs", they have way more intrest than spots available.

Its nice having early commits but Feb is when it counts. Bryce, Nuke and a couple others were late commits last year so dont worry! When signing day gets here, I see us getting one or two BIG commits that will shock us IMO.

we have a numbers issue. until they sort out and determine who they want and who they don't commitments are going to start to slow...

With it looking like none of our DT commitments will end up here, that should open the numbers up some.

I wasn't considering Willis, although I think he will be a DT.

I was j/k with you on Willis, but I think your right about our DT board. This is one area I feel that we are definitely going to be pleasantly suprised with, I just think we (as fans) won't know much for a few weeks on EEs and on NSD for the rest.

This is an intelligent gentleman.

We've actually turned away quite a few very solid players due to some higher rated prospects showing a lot of interest. If we wanted, we could have filled this class out already, but patience will land us a much more solid.

The grapevine says that there are many ready to pull the trigger but won't until the coaches guarantee that they will accept the commitment. Time.
